The quest is a term for a lifestyle, one which you may share with us, the creators of this program. We are Steve and Xiaoqian, an American and a Chinese person. Steve speaks enough Italian, Russian, and Chinese to get by in each of those countries. Xiaoqian speaks perfect English and Chinese, and very good, but not fluent Italian.
So what is The Quest? We intend to speak five languages fluently within five years.They will include Italian, Chinese, English, Russian, and Spanish. In the meantime, we hope to add to Language Quotient a variety of other languages such as French, Punjabi, Arabic, etc.
Have you ever met someone who speaks a pile of languages? Do you dream of being such a person? Language Quotient is being developed to be your resource to get there. Language Quotient already teaches Chinese and English, and the phrases have been translated to Russian and Spanish.
By joining us on this quest, you can make your desired languages known to us, and we will add your vote to our priorities. If you are a future or even present language genius, you owe it to yourself to be a part of this.
Why is Language Quotient is the ticket to your multilingual future? First, Language Quotient uses the same phrases and images for all the languages. So you can study Chinese first, and then tell Language Quotient you ARE Chinese and you want to study Spanish! You will keep refreshing your Chinese while learning Spanish. The phrases will be much easier to memorize since you already will know them in English and Chinese. Later, you can use Spanish to study Italian, two very close languages.
Language Quotient is intentionally designed to teach multiple languages. We use this program extensively in our own home to learn languages. So we need it to be fast, efficient, and effective! We will be continuing to find ways to improve it as we to move along on this quest. At some point, we may well meet with many of our best customers and continue this journey together on vacations or longer term engagements in various countries.
