Translation services:

Welcome to the Translation Services page at Language Quotient. I am Xiaoqian Hu, and I am the voice you hear if you study Chinese with this program. I am also the translator and developer of the Chinese portion of the program.

I do translation of all kinds of text between English and Chinese. I have written professionally in both languages, and I happen to also be a published law scholar in both languages.

English to Chinese translation: My services bill at twenty English words or forty Chinese characters per US dollar. Pricing is based on the original document, not the translation.

Additional notes: My favorite subjects include literature, art, and history. I have lived in Italy and speak quite a bit of Italian, though not enough to do translation work. I am familiar with academic writing and style and can handle a variety of topics. I also have an interest in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and other hard sciences.
